BOO! I found you! Haha! Hello, Lauren! It's me, Carling! I checked out your gallery. You're really good at drawing people. People in reality I mean. That kind of shading and such is hard to do. I'm no good at drawing actual people I've tried it, but there was just something I couldn't get right. *shrugs* No biggie for me. I just draw what comes to my mind, just the characters I create! Well, I'm glad that I remembered your DA name. Keep up the good work! ^_^

I love your drawings :D

Just a tip- maybe you should depart from the whole lotr thing.. you do it very well, but there are already thousands (literally) of drawings of merry, pippin and galdalf here on DA. If you apply your drawing talent to a more original subject, you would become a much more recognized artist.

Thank you for the nice welcome!

Although you would have no way of knowing it, I actually broke away from drawing LOTR-related subjects several months away; I was one of the moderators of a large LOTR-themed fan art community, so I was obliged to complete several pieces, and I'm a slow worker so that's all I did for a vry long time. I've since passed off my position to another person, so I'm free to draw what I please.Laure
I'm mostly a portrait artist--you don't say--and I haven't had much of a chance to work lately (my most recent piece is the portrait of John Stevens IV, done about a month ago) because of school and sports, but this summer I'm going to try my hand at more original work.
